The Fire Cabinet serves as storage of fire protection equipment mainly: Fire Hose Rack Assembly, Fire Extinguisher, and the Fire Hose Reel. The Fire Hose may either be connected to the standpipe (if indoors) or the Fire Hydrant (if outdoors).
The Wet Standpipe contains pressurized water, foam, or other fire retardants needed to extinguish fire. The Fire Hydrant System, most commonly located outside buildings, is directly connected to the building’s pressurized water supply that helps easier retrieval of water (usually by firefighters) in the instance of fires.
